Our directors operate closely with Esports Wales, the national body for Esports. JESS "R0GUE" ROUGHTON
Jess "R0GUE" Roughton is the Chief Executive Officer of GOATS Esports. Her journey began in 2022 when she represented Wales at the Commonwealth Esports Championships, an experience that inspired her to help in developing opportunities for Esports in her own local area.
Alongside leading GOATS Esports, R0GUE serves on the Board of Esports Wales as the Community & Safeguarding Director, where she looks to promote inclusion, player welfare, and community engagement. She is particularly passionate about introducing new people to esports and expanding opportunities for players in North Wales, helping to build a welcoming and sustainable competitive scene for the next generation.

GARETH "SWANNY" SWANN
Gareth "Swanny" Swann is the Chief Marketing Officer and co-founder of GOATS Esports, bringing a wealth of experience in marketing, events, and brand development. With a professional background that includes serving as SEGA's Global Events Manager, he has extensive expertise in delivering high-profile events and building strong gaming communities.
In addition to his role at GOATS Esports, Swanny also sits on the Board of Esports Wales, where he contributes to the continued growth of the Welsh esports ecosystem. A passionate gamer and dedicated community advocate, he combines industry knowledge with a genuine enthusiasm for esports, helping to drive GOATS Esports' vision while supporting the development of players and communities across North Wales.

COLBY "FLOSHY" THOMAS
Colby "Floshy" Thomas is the Director of Players at GOATS Esports, ensuring every player has the support they need to perform at their best. Calm, patient, and committed to fairness, he works closely with teams and other game directors across the organisation, helping each roster prepare for competition.
As our very own Esports Goatherd, Floshy takes pride in guiding and supporting all of our GOATS teams and players while fostering a positive team culture. He also acts as the Lead Host of the EscGOATS YouTube show, showcasing the people and personalities supporting GOATS Esports.

IORI "IORIISSPONGEY" YATES
Iori "ioriisspongey" Yates is the Director of Counter-Strike 2 at GOATS Esports and serves as the acting captain of the team. He oversees player recruitment, coaching, training, and match preparation specifically for CS2, ensuring the team is ready to compete at the highest level. With a strong focus on development and teamwork, Iori plays a key role in driving the continued development of GOATS Esports' Counter-Strike 2 roster.

LUC "LIGHTBRINGER" ZIMMER
Luc "Lightbringer" Zimmer is the Director of Chess for GOATS Esports and has represented the organisation since Chess was introduced to the Welsh Esports League in Season 9. A dedicated and ambitious competitor, Lightbringer has been steadily climbing the rankings through a combination of skill, determination, and a relentless commitment to improving his game.
Beyond competition, Lightbringer is passionate about developing the Chess community across Wales. As Director of Chess, he is committed to supporting the growth of the title, encouraging new players, and helping to establish a thriving competitive scene for the future.

COREY "ZERGRUSH" ASHMAN
Corey "Zergrush" Ashman has been a key part of GOATS Esports since the organisation's first Rocket League roster competed in Season 1 of the Welsh Esports League. Having represented GOATS across multiple seasons, he now serves as the Director of Rocket League and captain of the current roster.
In his role, Zerg oversees recruitment, coaching, training, and match preparation, leading the continued growth and success of GOATS Esports' Rocket League roster..
