About the Role
As a Community Moderator for GOATS, you will help create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment across our live community platforms, including Discord and Twitch. You will play an important role in supporting members, encouraging positive interactions, and helping to ensure that community standards are upheld.
The role involves monitoring community spaces, responding to member queries, enforcing community guidelines, bringing issues to the attention of GOATS management where appropriate, and contributing to safeguarding initiatives that promote the wellbeing of our members. Community Moderators will also help encourage engagement by welcoming new members, supporting community events and activities, and fostering a positive atmosphere throughout the organisation.
We are looking for individuals who are approachable, reliable, and passionate about community building. Strong communication skills, good judgement, and the ability to remain calm and professional when handling issues are highly desirable.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, wants to gain experience in community management and moderation, and is passionate about helping to grow an inclusive esports community in North Wales.
